About the Photographer
Angie McMonigal is a Chicago-based award-winning fine art photographer. Her work has received numerous awards with prestigious institutions, such as the International Photography Awards (IPA), Prix de la Photographie Paris (PX3), ND Awards, among others. She has exhibited nationally in galleries throughout the United States, including New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, and numerous other locations.
Her images have been published with National Geographic, SHOTS Magazine, Rfoto Folio, Stark Magazine, and F-Stop Magazine. She has been interviewed on several occasions sharing her thoughts and images with various online publications and podcasts, including National Geographic, Archisearch, and Women In Photography, among others. Having been raised in a small rural town, she approaches her environment with the spirit of someone who grew up surrounded by nature, finding moments of meditative calm in terrain that is always transforming.
