About the Author
Myrtis Randolph, MPH, merges her faith in God and her education in public health to address issues children face every day. She enjoys working with youth and has served as a Sunday school teacher, VBS coordinator and children's church instructor.
Myrtis is the mother of grown twin sons and currently lives in Chicago, IL. The main character Randi and her yoyo is based off Myrtis' last name and her childhood nickname "Yoyo".

Book Synopsis
Randi’s friends Maria and Jose disobeyed their parents and broke their mother’s vase. They were afraid of getting in trouble and considered lying to their parents. Worried and afraid, Maria discusses her thoughts with Randi.
